I am a full-stack software engineer and technical lead with 22 years of experience, and a focus on usability, accessibility, and internationalisation.

I have led the delivery of hundreds of projects in over 40 languages to more than 700 million viewers across all continents. I have written code in most major programming languages and frameworks, including Node and Express, React, Next.js, Svelte, Ruby on Rails, PHP and Laravel, Objective-C, and Swift.

I am a Brazilian-British national born in Rio de Janeiro, fluent in English and Portuguese.

• Covid Map and Tracker. The single most visited page in the history of BBC Online, and the first BBC News story to be published simultaneously in all 42 World Service languages. Featured in the exhibit "100 Objects that Made the BBC"
• Pre-election and live coverage of the 2023, 2022 and 2021 Local Elections, and 2019 General Elections in the UK, as well as over 20 electoral processes in the US, Brazil, India, Sri-Lanka, Kenya, Nigeria, among others.
• Pandora Papers: Secret wealth and dealings of world leaders exposed. A series of stories published in coordination with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
• Channel migrants tragedy: Terrifying final hours of their fatal journey. An investigation into the worst migrant drowning in the English Channel that creatively combined maps, audio and graphics to tell the personal stories of the victims.
